The left side of the blog sphere has been pretty busy with OYE, Operation Yellow Elephant. It has been quite entertaining to watch these college republicans denounce liberals and everyone who questions the war, then dance around giving excuses as to why they wont enlist. “I’m helping defeat the terrorist by attending business school”
Well now it just got better. After thumping their chests at their national convention in Vegas, guess what. These second hand Alex Keatons are now BROKE!
From the Las Vegas Sun
[Nathan]Taylor argues that the state's Republican delegation should have helped him fund the national Young Republican convention held last week at Mandalay Bay.
"I've got bills at the hotel I can't pay," said Taylor, a 29-year-old political science senior at UNR who said he had to quit his food service job and drop classes to plan the convention.
Taylor estimates that the convention, attended by about 600 people from around the nation.
Did I read that correctly? Six hundred people? For Christ sake, the waffle bar at IHOP draws a bigger crowd!
Master Taylor has a host of problems, missing funds, questionable spending, the prospect of appearing as a defendant on Judge Judy. Of course there can be only one reason he is in this fix. He is the victim of a political smear.
Taylor said the charges against him are all politically motivated, and he is holding the press conference today because he wants to get his life back in shape.
"I was put through hell," he said. "It hurt me, it hurt my family. I had broken my back and lost everything to put on this convention."
Word of advice kid. End that press confrense by saying “You wont have Nathan Taylor to kick around anymore.”
Then go away for good.
Taylor is not the only college GOPer in trouble. These turdblossoms are even cropping up on the Banks of the Old Raritan
